The Tacoma Children’s Business Fair gives young entrepreneurs the opportunity to launch a real business, share their ideas, and lead with their passions. Applications open several times a year for upcoming fairs.
Children ages 5–17
Preference is given to children who live in Tacoma–Pierce County
Businesses must be child-led, with children making the key decisions
Adult support is welcome, but children should be the primary presenters
Review eligibility and upcoming fair dates
Submit the vendor application when applications are open (they open at 10am, 4 weeks prior to the respective fair date)
Applications are reviewed and given acceptance or declination emails within 48 hours.
We try to accept everyone; however, declinations happen if others have the same business concept as we try to limit too much of the same one to support profits for all as well as limit competition. 3D printed toy businesses and slime are among the most popular business concepts.
We host the Tacoma Children’s Business Fair 4–5 times each year. If fairs get added you will see the update reflected on our website. The current upcoming fair dates for 2026 are:
